Washington Technical Institute is exceptionally proud of our quality, student-first instructors. To kick off our inaugural instructor spotlight blog, we want to introduce you to Josh Rich. Josh is the instructor for all of WTI’s legal programs which include our National, Senior, and Master Paralegal certificates, Immigration Law Specialist certificate, and Criminal Justice certificate. He attended college in Tampa, FL, and law school in San Diego, CA. As a practicing lawyer, Josh brings real-world experience to his classes and students that provides the insight you are not able to find in a textbook alone.
We asked Josh to tell us a bit about himself, “I am originally from New York and moved to Florida with my family. We have a dog named Remy (from Ratatouille) and a cat named Figaro (from Pinocchio). We have a daughter who is almost five years old and a son that is almost two years old. I am a huge Disney fan, including their entertainment and park divisions. We absolutely enjoy Disney World and visiting other animal parks.”
Washington Tech’s programs are designed differently, and as Josh stated, “WTI offers a fantastic and unique opportunity to students who are looking for a different paced educational program.” The self-paced programs allow students to navigate their busy lives and their educational goals. With guidance, students can build a plan that works for their lives while marching towards program completion. One of Josh’s favorite parts of being a WTI instructor is “working and connecting with students through issues that may arise during the journey.” This leads to his great advice to students in his programs: “Don’t put the work off and find a steady and doable pace.”
WTI programs are all self-paced certificates and are led by exceptional and engaged instructors. We look forward to highlighting more of them in future spotlights. Until then, you can check out all our program details by visiting the Washington Technical Institute website. We are also committed to helping our students complete affordable programs with little to no debt, if possible.
