We use the same materials as other accredited colleges, which are delivered online and taught by the same highly qualified instructors that have earned advanced degrees from regionally accredited colleges and universities. Washington Tech has an admissions office, deans of students, directors, school finance office, administration, and instructors. We also have a college president and provost. We have learners that are seeking to earn an undergraduate certificate or career diploma to advance their careers.
There are many differences between online colleges and traditional colleges, but the major difference is the setting in which the learning process happens. In a traditional college, students attend an in-person classroom whereby students learn the material from a live instructor at set times. Students attending an online college learn by accessing the course material through the college’s learning management system. Online college offers students the opportunity to study from the comfort and privacy of home or work. Attending college online is a big-time saver and offers a great deal of flexibility with learning.
Many students prefer online learning as opposed to learning in a traditional classroom. Online learning offers a great deal of flexibility and a one-on-one connection with instructors. Lastly, all learning has moved to the digital platform, so whether you attend college in a traditional college classroom or choose to study at home, students have the very same or better learning experience.

Online instruction is an ideal way to further your education in today's busy world. Most of our students have schedules that do not permit them to take classes in a traditional classroom. They are either employed full-time, have families, or have other commitments that make it impossible to attend regularly scheduled classes at a local institution or university. Some students do not live near a school that offers a paralegal program, and can not just pick up and move somewhere else.
Online instruction primarily offers convenience, but there are additional benefits. Students are able to attend online courses at their own schedule and pace, and from any location, so school is open when you are ready to attend your online courses.
We have also heard anecdotal evidence that employers are impressed when they see potential employees who have taken and completed online courses. Employers say that it demonstrates the important qualities of self-motivation and self-discipline.
