Students who graduate from Washington Technical Institute’s Paralegal certificate training program will be qualified to sit for the Certified Legal Assistant, Certified Paralegal (CLA/CP) exam given by the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), as well as, meet the accredited business and legal course criteria required to sit for the Accredited Legal Professional (ALP) exam given by NALS.
Click Here for the NALA education requirements flow chart. **Depending on students' previous education experiences, additional credits may be required to satisfy the 60-semester credit requirement for certification. **Washington Technical Institute will aid students in meeting all credit requirements at no additional charge for the NALA certification exam.
Graduates of the Senior and Master Paralegal Certificate from Washington Tech will also meet the accredited business/legal course criteria needed to sit for the Certified Legal Assistant/Certified Paralegal (CLA/CP) exam given by the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
