About Alpha Beta Kappa

Alpha Beta Kappa (ABK) is a national honor society that celebrates the accomplishments of students at colleges, universities, and postsecondary institutions across the United States. Membership in ABK signifies excellence in academics, leadership, and moral character—core values that define true professional success.

Students inducted into ABK represent the highest standards of achievement in their programs. Each new member receives a personalized membership certificate, the Alpha Beta Kappa Gold Key, and official recognition from the society, marking their accomplishment as one of lasting distinction.

Selection and Eligibility

To be considered for membership in Alpha Beta Kappa, students must:

  • Earn a minimum of ten semester credits at Washington Technical Institute
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Demonstrate excellence in coursework, projects, and applied learning
  • Exhibit leadership, service, and integrity through engagement in courses and contributions to the WTI online learning community

Members are selected based on both academic performance and personal character, ensuring that each inductee reflects the values and professionalism associated with ABK.
