Course Description

PLAW-302: Law Office Management introduces students to the principles and practices required to manage an efficient, compliant, and professional legal office. Using Law Practice Management by Cynthia Traina Donnes, this course explores the structure of law firms, the role of legal administrators, and the systems that support effective operations.

Students will develop skills in client communication, billing, trust accounting, calendaring, docket control, and case management. The course also emphasizes malpractice prevention, ethical considerations, and the use of technology in legal administration.
