This course is designed to introduce and familiarize students with the structure and function of the human body, providing a basic foundation for further study in the clinical aspects of the Medical Office Assistant profession.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Identify and name different parts of the human body
- Understand the structural units of the human body
- Explain the chemistry of living things
- Review cell processing
- Review the functions of individual body systems
- Relate the chapter materials to job duties within the Medical Office Assistant profession.
